I was doing my usual empirical reading of a scientific journal produced at last year’s meeting of the Royal Society. It was a discourse basically between science and faith, Darwinism and Symbiogenesis, God and evolutionary theory. I will not even attempt to explain the information because it was far above my pay grade but as always I do digest and retain tomes of disconnected information. Basically I understand it but I would be at a loss in attempting to convey in layman’s terms what I had read. A lot of genetic stuff: Modern Synthesis, Neo Darwinism, The Selfish Gene, Accept nothing on authority, Horizontal DNA transfer, hybridization, etc.
What grabbed my attention was a lot of simplistic assumptions. One scientist remarked or asked “When do you think Global Warming began? The resounding answer was: “At the end of the last Ice Age.” Yea! Duh! Whoopee! I am ecstatic with in ironical mirth. Dang me! I love it. Of...

Unrevealed until its season, something God alone can see.
There’s a song in every silence, seeking word and melody;
There’s a dawn in every darkness, bringing hope to you and me,
From the past will come the future; what it holds, a mystery?
Unrevealed until its season, something God alone can see.
In our end is our beginning; in our time, infinity;
In our doubt the...

I started to just write this post on Facebook but instead opted for my blog post, it’s easier to edit and correct things here. Facebook often thinks for you and changes words which makes you look somewhat ignorant. So, please be sure to edit your Facebook entries before you post them. Somewhere in this dialog I will come up with a title for this article.
I am at home and it’s Sunday afternoon and the weather is just right. Clear and cool, sunshine and about 65 degrees. I should be outside doing some menial task but I choose to extrapolate and opine instead.
My first thought is that I pray every single day, usually several times a day. Not always lengthy prayers but those you just “wing it with.” To pray unceasingly and be in an attitude of prayer or spiritual awareness. I pray mostly for wis...
